Go to Settings > About Phone > Show EID. If an EID number appears, your device supports eSIM (e.g., Huawei P40, P40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro). Also, ensure your device is network-unlocked.
Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data. A stable internet connection is required for eSIM activation.
Go to Settings > Mobile Network > SIM Management and disable or remove other eSIMs or physical SIMs. Huawei devices typically allow only one SIM for calls and data at a time.
Using QR Code:
Enter Details Manually:
Go to Settings > Mobile Network > SIM Management, select the newly added eSIM, rename it to "Jett On", and set it as the default data line.
Disable the physical SIM to prevent it from consuming data.
Go to Settings > Mobile Network > SIM Management > Jett On and enable "Data Roaming". This is required for the eSIM to work.
Turn on Airplane Mode for 10 seconds, then turn it off. This refreshes the network signal.
Open Chrome or another browser to check your connection. If the page loads, your eSIM is working!
