1 Check if Your Device Supports eSIM
Devices that support eSIM usually show the "Add Mobile Plan" option under network settings. Check if your device supports eSIM:
- Go to your device settings and look for Mobile Networks or Connections.
- Look for the "Add Mobile Plan" option. If it’s there, your device supports eSIM.
2 Check for SIM Lock Status
To use eSIM, your device must be unlocked. If your device is locked, you need to unlock it first:
- Go to About Phone in your device settings.
- Open the Status section and check the SIM Lock Status, it should say "Unlocked".
3 Ensure Internet Connection
Before activating eSIM, make sure your device is connected to the internet. Ensure your device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data:
- Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data is enabled.
- Ensure that you have a stable internet connection.
4 Remove Conflicts with Other SIMs
If you have other SIM cards in your device, disable or remove them to avoid conflicts when activating eSIM:
- Go to Mobile Networks in your device settings.
- Disable or remove any other SIM or eSIM cards.
5 Install Your eSIM
Using QR Code:
- Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > Add Mobile Plan.
- Scan the QR code provided by Jett On.
- Tap "Add Plan" to confirm.
Enter Details Manually:
- Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > Add Mobile Plan > Manual Entry.
- Enter the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code.
- All required information is provided below your QR code.
6 Set eSIM as Default Data Line
Once you have added the eSIM, set it as your default data line:
- Go to Settings > Mobile Networks and select the eSIM you added.
- Rename it to "Jett On" and set it as the default data line.
7 Refresh Network Connection
To refresh your network connection, turn on Airplane Mode for 10 seconds and then turn it off:
- Turn on Airplane Mode for 10 seconds and then turn it off.
- This will refresh your network connection.
8 Test Your Internet
Open a browser like Chrome and check your internet connection:
- Open Chrome or another browser.
- If a webpage loads successfully, your eSIM is working!
